Reviews of Cilgwyn

"Delightful cottage, quiet, out of the way, location. Immacculate throughout. Ample parking, delightful garden, secure at the rear, ideal for our 2 collies. The visiting birdlife was simply delightful, especially the greater spotted woodpeckers and their young, only a few metres away on the feeders. Ideally situated for Llangollen, Chirk, Trevor and walking the canal and the Pontcysyllte aquaduct. Despite the wet,we had a great time, The local pub does a good meal too."

"We have just spent a lovely relaxing week in Cilgwyn. 4 adults, 1 child, 1 Newfoundland. The cottage is immaculate. Couldn't fault it. If we could give more than 5 stars we would! It is in the small village of Dolywern, about 30 mins from Llangollen. 10 mins from Chirk. We enjoyed a few glasses of wine outside with the gorgeous views at the back, watching the birds. It is set back from the main village so the silence was golden. We couldn't have wished for a nicer place to stay, and we wished we'd booked two weeks rather than one."
