Reviews of The Granary

"This cottage is my idea of perfection. A building with thick stone walls and gorgeous wooden fittings. Inside the owner has provided everything you could wish for making it a home from home. On arrival the owner had left home made cake, eggs, milk and all the usual things like tea and coffee as well as many more welcoming touches too numerous to mention. There are two private patio areas to use and the view is spectacular. A few miles away is Llanfair Caeirinion with a steam train ride to Welshpool, I would certainly recommend it. The cottage is close to many walking trails and Snowdonia national park is about half an hour ride away. I would strongly recommend The Granary and will definitely be returning in the future."

"What an amazing place to stay. We found this little gem very last minute! Mrs Jones has only just started her venture and I am sure she will do well. We had a lovely welcome with homemade Welsh cakes and everything you could ask for in a home from home. The inside is comfortable, clean and just the right size for two. There are stunning views from outside the cottage and we were able to eat outside in the garden. I would totally recommend this place for anyone who wants to come and explore mid Wales. "
