Reviews of Bodywen

"Lovely old cottage but bath needs hand -rail ,shower attachment got in way as already 3 showers and a warning about low ceilings would be helpful as banging head was painful . Neighbour Phil was very helpful with local knowledge and offer to cut grass , but all locals were very friendly and seemed pleased to help. Very spacious inside although right on edge of Snowdonia so visitors need to be aware Mount Snowdon at Llanberis is over 50 miles each way . Road to Bala is amazing with sheer drop on one side ."

"Spent a long weekend here with friends. First thing I have to mention is the lovely big kitchen. Well-equipped and lots of room to work. Large table for us all to sit around chatting and having a laugh. 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin each en-suite which is a big plus. Cosy reading room, very well stocked with a varied selection of reading matter and a comfy lounge. Both with wood burning stoves. Plenty of wood in stock. Music to our ears (see what I did there!) It also has central heating which keeps the whole cottage warm. Large garden to the rear but parking a bit tight to the front. Well positioned to enjoy walks straight from the door. 2 pubs 2 minutes away, one of which is being refurbished. No food in that one at the moment but open for drinks at certain times. We partook of a meal at the New Inn. Can thoroughly recommend their food. All in all a great property and location to spend time."
