Reviews of Miller's Rest Cottage

"Had a wonderful weekend away with friends at Millers Cottage! Booked it pretty last minute, so wasn't sure what to expect, but it certainly met our expectations! Lovely cosy cottage which was easy to find just down the road from Montgomery. Cannot comment much on the local area as we didn't go far, just some dog walking, but there was a vineyard with cafe within walking distance, a local pub which we managed to find to pop to and a lovely ice cream parlour at a dairy up the road! The house was so comfortable - we all agreed the beds were some of the comfiest we had slept in and the hot tub was big enough for us all to comfortably relax. Our dog really enjoyed the large garden and his walks in the surrounding countryside, lots of new smells for a Manchester dog! Plenty of storage for food etc which we took with us and a good stock of basics such as loo roll and dishwasher tablets, however make sure you pack some tea-towels and an oven glove! :)"

"We had an excellent stay at Millers Rest. Came home relaxed and feeling ready to face the hum-drum of manic life. Excellent facilities, used the open fire every night and huddled down for a movie on the very well equipped TV. Great hosts and very welcoming. Would recommend and stay again. "

"We spent most of our time in Miller's Rest Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our time there, it had everything we needed and will definitely return at some point in the future. We will be telling all our family and friends about it. The hot tub was our favorite part and the kitchen was a pleasure to cook in. "

"We stayed here as a large family group, three couples, and the stay couldn't have been more pleasant. Matt, who owns/runs the place was so helpful providing us with directions to anywhere we wanted to go, and also in giving my car a rolling start when the battery went wonky. The hot tub was amazing, and the area is so beautiful. I definitely intend to come back next year. Everything was spotless when we arrived, and there are some great walks around the property and surrounding area. I could not recommend this place enough!"
