Reviews of Tawny Barn

"We had the most amazing honeymoon at Tawny barn. The location is fabulous, tucked away off of the main road with stunning views. The cottage itself is beautiful inside. Converted to a really high standard. The bed is so comfortable. The kitchen had all the utensils and cooking equipment that you could possibly need to cook fully. Sue and Jonathon are great. Their local knowledge is extensive and they are always willing to offer knowledge and advice. Would highly recommend staying here."

"Beautiful little property that's been decorated to a high standard. Perfect for couples or small families ( We were 2 adults and 2 boys under 10) The steps up to the upper sleeping deck would be difficult for under 3's. Everything is fitted out to a high standard and the boys loved waking up and looking out of the panoramic window at the sheep grazing in the field. There is a steep hill that can be climbed for amazing views of the local country side, half way up the hill is a wonderful tree house that kept the boys busy for hours. The property has its own private patio where you can sit and soak up the peace of the rolling landscape. Sue and Jonathan the owners are in the large farmhouse on site and are not only very welcoming but have a vast knowledge of the surrounding area. The nearby Lake Verwyn is stunning and we enjoyed a day out on the local steam railway. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return."
