Note: There?s three internal steps down from the entrance hallway to the king-size bedroom and bathroom, plus the main staircase leads straight into the sitting room, with a split-level landing up to the kitchen. Note: Sloping ceilings and some restricted head height in kitchen. Note: Stabling available for up to two horses or ponies, available by prior arrangement and at an additional cost. Note: No stag/hen parties, or similar.

Location

Shepherd's Watch is a wonderful semi-detached cottage situated on the owners' working livestock farm, 1.5 miles from the village of Llanfihangel and 6.5 miles from the town of Llanfyllin. This cottage sleeps four people in two ground floor bedrooms, consisting of one king-size double with en-suite and one single, together with a ground floor bathroom. The cottage also has a first floor galleried kitchen and a first floor sitting room with dining area with an electric stove. Outside there's off road parking for two cars, a patio with furniture, shared gardens and shared use of a hot tub and sauna. A quality holiday home for exploring the area.

The charming town of Llanfyllin is situated deep in the scenic Cain Valley, surrounded by rolling hills and the Berwyn Mountains. The town has a good selection of shops where you can buy all of your essentials. Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with considerable architectural variety, it is home to Y Dolydd, an early 19th Century workhouse, which once featured on the BBC Restoration programme.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
