Location

Barley is a quality semi-detached cottage set on the owners' working livestock farm, 1.5 miles from the village of Llanfihangel and 6.5 miles from the town of Llanfyllin. The cottage sleeps two people and has a super king-size double bedroom with en-suite bath, a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with woodburner. Outside there's off road parking for one car, a front seating area, shared gardens and shared use of a hot tub and sauna. Barley is an ideal base for a couple on a romantic retreat with plenty to see and do in this wonderful area.

The charming town of Llanfyllin is situated deep in the scenic Cain Valley, surrounded by rolling hills and the Berwyn Mountains. The town has a good selection of shops where you can buy all of your essentials. Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with considerable architectural variety, it is home to Y Dolydd, an early 19th Century workhouse, which once featured on the BBC Restoration programme.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
