Reviews of Caban Gwdihw ( Owl Cabin)

"What a lovely place, set in the heart of mid Wales. The cabin was a large space with a central log burner with wood supplied. All the comforts of home provided with internet and freesat. The large hot tube was even nice in the rainy cold nights. The enclosed garden was secure enough for two mad dogs who liked to look at the llamas in their enclosure. The owner was very helpful and approachable, nothing was too much. A total of 4 cabins making the site feel friendly and secure. Would recommend the cabins and site for friends to get together and families "

"We had a really relaxing break the log cabin was lovely. Steve greated us on our arrival and showed us everything we needed to know about the cabin, we had everything we could have possibly needed and more. Set in a beautiful, peaceful position on the owners land you feel like you are miles from anywhere, it really is a great place to unwind and get away from it all. The cabin is very clean and tidy and that spacious we were pleasantly surprised as the photos really don't do it justice, then with the enclosed garden for the dog and hot tub for us everyone was happy. Thank you for a lovely holiday."

"When we arrived, we were greeted by Steve and Eilleen, the owners. Very friendly people. Helpful and couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. Good, honest people! When I asked how far the nearest shop was for a razor, Eilleen went out of her way to get me one from her house to save us an 18 mile trip! Absolutely stunning place! We booked this weekend break and travelled as two couples with 2 dogs. Cabin in very spacious even with the dogs and the facilities are perfect. Everything you would need so it was like home from home! Kitchen was kitted out with everything you would need to make decent dinners including cutlery, crockery etc. Views from the French doors were stunning. So tranquil and quiet. The only noise was the noise we made and the odd sheep. En suite bathrooms were better than my own at home! Plenty of red hot water and showers were great with good water pressure. Being set in 19 acres, it was lovely to wander down to the river where the dogs had a swim followed by a toast by the log burner inside. Very cosy. The hot tub was amazing. Even in the rain! We went to Hafren forest which wasn't too far and equally breathtaking. Overall it was a very welcomed break and we will definitely be returning. Hidden gem of Wales Thank you!"
