Reviews of Cae Glas

"Cae Glas is truly a hidden gem. We have stayed at quite a number of holiday cottages over the years and we can honestly say this is the best, both value for money and what was provided. The cottage is so large with beautifully maintained gardens and has the added bonus of a games room (table tennis, darts) in their double garage. Elena & Gareth made sure we had everything we needed (tea, milk etc) and the Welsh cakes were a lovely touch. Cae Glas is also perfectly located in the middle of Anglesey meaning that you were never more than 15-20 minutes from any of the sights. It is also a a five minute drive to Llangefni which has a selection of supermarkets (Asda, Adli, Lindl) and many other shops, despite having the look and feel of a village. We only visited a selection of places we wanted to go to because the cottage was so cosy so will return and, if Elena & Gareth will let us, would love to book Cae Glas again. Five stars from us."

"Just returned home after a week at this lovely cottage. Cottage was very spacious with a decent sized fenced garden allowing the kids to play outside safely. Large garage with tables tennis, dart board and radio which was good fun! Cottage was very clean and stocked with everything we needed for a great stay. Including tea coffee and milk which was much appreciated after our journey over!! Really was a home from home! Beds very comfy and cottage nicely furnished. Photos don't really do it justice! Perfect location for exploring the island , never more than half an hour or so from the coast so we visited many stunning beaches! The only reason for the 4 rating rather than the 5 is the lack of Vodafone reception at the property and the lack of wifi. With both of these it would of been flawless ! Would definitely recommend and we plan to return ourselves! "

"The house is very centrally located in Anglesey . Only 2 minutes drive from Llangefni, the house is on a B road so no single lane roads to navigate. It felt like a real home from home and we really wanted for nothing whilst we were there. The games room a real boon for anyone staying with table tennis /darts.There is a very large television with comfy settees to lounge on. The garden is private and well tended and you can sit outside in the evening. We were very well looked after by Gareth and Elena with lots of suggestions of where to go on the island. The milk and cake was a real treat for when we arrived. We will definitely be back."

"My boyfriend and future parents in-law decided to take me away to a surprise location while my visit in the UK. Being from Australia my boyfriend new how much I love the traditional English countryside and old world charm of homes. Arriving here for a 3 night stay was in one word totally overwhelming to me! In all the perfect ways! The house is so beautiful and built with country charm and warm details. There is a combustion stove to cook on, a farmers sink as we say in Australia, rich coloured wooden stairs that lead to gorgeous bedrooms, a formal searing room, a family room with a wood fire and wooden beams overhead. I can't explain the feeling of living in this house for 4 days. The best way to describe it would be to recommend staying there! I made my boyfriend promise to take me back one day soon I look forward to the day very much! I must also add that the owner whose name escapes me now was so friendly in helping us with directions to places. Please do not visit Wales without staying here!"
