Reviews of Refail Bach

"We couldn't have found a better place to stay for our weeks holiday on Anglesea. The cottage Rafail Bach is outstanding, the welcome pack amazing and the owner really helpful & friendly. The cottage was comfortable, warm, spotless and is finished to a high standard. It has everything you need & more for a holiday. It has it's own private garden to the back & dedicated parking at the front. The private road meant our 8 year old could play out for hours safely on his bike which was a super bonus for us. It shares the road with a second cottage which sleeps 6, so could be booked together to sleep 10. It's on the door step of so much to do on and off Anglesea. We've cycled (Sustrans cycle trail 566 from the door - the Cafe in Malltraeth is a gem & a must to visit before turning back! & Newborough Forest), walked, visited beaches (Newborough is a must), visited Beaumaris & its castle, LlanfairPG, Caernarfon, Cemaes, Trearddur Bay, South Stack lighthouse, Rhosneigr (watched the fighter planes take off, pass by & land), Conwy, drove round the base of Snowden (stopping to visit Llanberis & Beddgelert), been to Zip World Fforest, visited the Motor Museum (a good half day out & cakes amazing), watched racing on Anglesea circuit as well as finding time to enjoying sitting outside at the cottage relaxing. We've had fantastic ice creams at the Red Boat in Beaumaris, Georgio's in Lanberris, off the Quay in Conwy and enjoyed it with a pancake in Scoops Caernarfon. We enjoyed meals at the Ship Inn at Red Wharf Bay, the Crown at Aberffraw, the cafe at Zip World & Fish n Chips on the Quay at Conwy. We didn't get round to riding the Ribs to Puffin Island or climbing Snowden and so many other things, so we will be back and will look forward to stopping at Rafail Bach again & again."
