Reviews of Tre Coed

"The house is great - 3 big bedrooms (2 of them ensuite) and a 4th small single room, 2 good sized lounge areas and nice kitchen dinner. The house has everything you could ask for very well equipped with lots of extras such as books, games and toys. However, the car parking was an issue for us, the owners live on-site (in a converted garage at the end of the dive) and also park their car at the end of the drive. We only had 2 small cars and we really struggled to park these in the space and getting in and out was a logistical nightmare. A minor issue but after a week we had had enough. The garden is very large but was very overgrown, making it almost impossible to access some areas and this was a really shame as it was obviously set up very well but now requires a good clear out. The house is within walking distance of 3 good pubs and a well-stocked local shop. 10-minute drive to barmouth and lots of great beaches."

"The house is spacious and very well equipped. The garden has been lovingly laid out and is most unusual. There are two pubs and a good local shop within easy walking distance. Llanbedr is an excellent base from which to explore Snowdonia and the Lleyn peninsula, as well as being only a few miles from the beach and Harlech castle. A perfect choice for a holiday home! The only negative is that there is no tumble drier, although there is a washing machine. In typical Welsh weather, a washer/drier would be useful."

"The house and garden and generally very good - however, on arrival one of the TV's wasn't working (no sound) and the owner wasn't able to fix it. I had to change my sheets because there was a greasy mark and a long hair in the bed. When I mentioned this to the owner she was very defensive. Also, my bedside table was dusty, marked and also had a hair. When I mentioned this the owner said she had spent hours cleaning the house, implying that I had been mistaken. I pointed out that I would not be changing and washing my sheets at 20.00 if I had thought they were clean. All in all, a very poor handling of my complaint. Having to share the laundry room with the owner was not mentioned in the rental information and is a bug bear for me when renting a holiday property. No mobile phone signal and no landline were also not mentioned. I won't be returning, and after the way my concerns were treated, I won't be recommending either."
