"The cottage is wonderfully finished to provide great comfort with an authentic feel, without being in anyway over-fussy. The secluded location completes a romantic setting. The area is great for lots of stunning hill walks and is close enough for some stunning beaches and days out. The owners are a genuine and welcoming couple and have done so much to develop the whole property. We were instantly made to feel welcome and would thoroughly recommend this for anyone looking for a scenic quiet getaway in the countryside."

"The children and I stayed in this beautiful cottage, located near the little village of Llanbedr. We had a fantastic week staying in this cottage, which my children thought seemed magical. Especially as the cottage was located in an enchanted woodland surrounded by the beauty of nature. We had time to explore these local woodlands. This cottage is great for walkers, hikers and someone who wants to escape the rat race. So book this cottage if you fancy finding the inner Explorer in you. Enjoy the amazing mountains, woodlands, waterfalls and not forgetting the beautiful coastline... Oh an the miniature Italian village of Portmeirion, in Gwynedd My little Random Masters loved 'exploring the Enchanted forest and River Afon, Wales' I have to say the location is more beautiful when seeing it for real Anyway Baa Baa for now. I'm sure you'll love the sheep too"

"This was a perfect cottage for us as we wanted a very quiet location. The owners could not have been nicer and the facilities provided were great, plenty of logs and coal for the fire, a superb shower and the bed was very comfortable. The dogs liked lying in front of the woodburner when we had it lit but soon moved away to a cooler part of the lounge. If you aren't used to it, the roads are a little thin and winding but you soon get used. Wouldn't recommend the back road to Harlech though."

Our five year old son loved the adventure and can't wait to return. Although the cottage was nicely secluded it still gave easy access to Barmouth, Harlech, Shell Island and Nantcol Waterfalls to name but a few. Wish we could have stayed longer!"

"Looking at this cottage on the internet showed what looked like a fantastic holiday cottage! The photos do not do it justice!! The cottage is excellent, finished to a high standard and supremely comfortably. Sadly the weather was warm so there was no need to use the log burning stove (first time I've wished for cold weather on holiday which didn't involve skiing :-) But the joy of this cottage is its location. It is in a very remote location, and very secluded. Sandra and Ben were on holiday themselves while we were there so we really did have the place to ourselves. It was so quiet it was unbelievable. The surrounding countryside is superb, with walking from the door. It is well placed for Harlech, Snowdon, Barmouth etc, which can all be reached quite quickly by car. The only downside? Having to leave after a glorious relaxing week. Thanks Sandra and Ben for sharing this with us."

"This is a fantastic place to come and relax and recharge your batteries. The cottage is really comfortable, very clean and now benefits from a lovely terrace Ben has put on the back which has views over the hills and is sheltered. You could drink your morning coffee there or have dinner. The photos do the place justice to some degree but there are no pictures of the bathroom - no need to worry. It has a great shower, big bath and all the other necessities and is new and really spotless. I said to some degree, because obviously you don't get the feeling of the place...calm, tranquil and wonderfully relaxing. There is no mobile connection (which can be a benefit!) but there is Internet. The surrounding area is fantastic for walkers or people who love the outdoors - woods that look like something out of The Hobbit, forests, lakes, hills, mountains and views over Snowdonia, the Rhinogs and the sea. You can go off into the mountains here or even to the sea very easily. You can even walk to Harlech from the cottage. Ben and Sandra are lovely. They are friendly, helpful and very kind and know the area like the back of their hand. I really recommend this place - it was one of our best holidays."

That was a fantastic experience for the non farmers/sheherds amongst us. We also climbed Snowdon up the Rangers path. Not easy but what an experience. The Rhinog mountains behind the property have some great walks aswell up to lakes and some fantastic views. The beaches are so clean and just the mountains and beach combo for us make it a great place to visit. The property is so comfortable with central heating and a wood burner. Well fitted out kitchen with plenty of plates, cooking dishes etc. The owners Ben and Sandra are either discreetly in the back ground if thats what you want, or really pleasant friendly people when you do meet with them. Nothing is too much trouble. The location if you want to walk and take in the wildlife and scenery is perfect. We will be visiting again I hope later this year."
