We also especially loved the jigsaw puzzles (be prepared for some late nights if you try to tackle them). The beds were comfortable and the cottage was cosy and warm despite the wet and windy weather. All round excellent with a lovely warm, Welsh welcome!"

"The cottage is in a beautiful location and is very peaceful and quiet - with just the sheep, cattle and seagulls for company. The owners live just next door but you don`t know they are there and were very pleasant when we did see them. It is in a good spot for the dog friendly beaches and our dogs just loved it. There is a hotel over the road from the cottage that serves good food and is also dog friendly. The cottage is very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We had one of our best weeks here - with the fabulous weather adding to our enjoyment - we sat outside and watched the sun go down on the longest day with a glass of wine! Perfect."

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Tyddyn. It is a lovely cottage with a very pleasant garden, nice and flat for our old dog. It is very conveniently based between Barmouth and Harlech which are very easy and quick to get to by car. There is a lovely pub that you can walk to towards the beach which served nice meals. The hotel/pub (opposite) nearest the cottage wasn't very nice. The only gripe about the cottage was that the lounge was quite dark/dingy and very sparsely furnished, nothing like the on-line picture. We would certainly contemplate booking this cottage again when holidaying in the Barmouth area."
