Just four miles away is the town of Harlech, which is well worth a visit with its 13th Century castle, golf course and restaurants. Catch a ferry from Barmouth to Fairbourne, plus the Snowdonia National Park awaits, well worth a visit. The surrounding area has an exciting array of wildlife and birds.
