"It's a truly lovely house that has everything you need for a perfect holiday. For us the most important aspect is that it is dog friendly, and there are numerous walks straight from the front door, and the fabulous beaches at Dyffryn and Harlech are only minutes away by car, which meant that we hardly used our car at all. The owners are delightful hosts and nothing is too much bother for them. We have stayed in many cottages in France and the UK and this one certainly comes out in the top three. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we're thinking of booking for next year to make sure we get the week we want!"

"Its remote location on top of highland, in front of a mountain in the middle of sheep country was appealing. The enclosed fenced garden was great as children and dogs could be let out to play safely. The sunsets were spectacular looking out over the Irish Sea. The owner's were very pleasant and helpful and the Wifi worked well. I would go again to the same place."

The owners are on hand for advice but do not interfere with your vacation. Wonderful walks from right outside the door with breathtaking views all around. Lovely local Cafes in Dyffryn and Harlech and great trips to Portmadog and lake Bala. Cottage is clean and very well equipped, the best we have been in. Highly recommended"

"We stayed here as a base for exploring the castles of North Wales. It was a bit of a last minute booking, but everything was sorted very quickly. The cottage was in a fabulous location surrounded by hills and sheep and was very comfortable and clean. We were made very welcome by the owners, with Mrs Jones baking us an absolutely delicious cake! Caerfynnon is a bit off the beaten track, but it was very accessible to the main road by car. The sandy beach was only about 10 minutes away with Dyffryn ardudwy about 1.5 miles down the road. There seemed to be lots of things to do and places to visit in the area - we were concentrating on castles so didn't have the opportunity to explore fully. It was so peaceful, with just the sounds of the sheep and birds to keep us company. Sadly the internet access failed, but Mr Jones was very apologetic and kept us up to date with progress, in the end we were so busy enjoying the glorious sunshine in the garden we didn't need it. The cottage proved an ideal choice for our stay and we are all hoping to visit again."

There was a proper cot for my son, not a travel cot and there were plenty of sheep to keep him happy too. A well appointed, lovely cottage that I would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family."
