Reviews of Wenallt

"7 of us stayed here for 3 nights last October. Excellent accommodation providing plenty of space and amenities. Relaxing environment and handy, as it was a short walk to the town where there where plenty of options to eat and drink. The house was spotlessly clean and well presented and had 3 large bathrooms. We are planning to return next year, it was that good. Parking is a bit of an issue as only enough room for 2 vehicles but that was overcome by parking in the long term car park next to the river. Highly recommended."

"Ten of us have spent the week running on the Welsh Coast Path and the house was great and in the perfect location. House - Great layout downstairs with plenty of space in the downstairs rooms to cope with the 10 of us all milling about. Good sized kitchen with plenty of crockery/cutlery. Two sitting rooms with TV's (one with DVD player and plenty of DVD's) and a dining room gave good flexibility for evening activity. Small utility room with washer/dryer was great for dirty clothes/shoes at end of the day. Upstairs the bedrooms are large, smart, clean and well laid out and with three showers there was never a queue. Location - just off the central square means everywhere in town is walkable. Nice pubs, nice meals in The Ship Hotel and Lemon Grass indian restaurant. Decent sized Co-Op but also great butchers / greengrocers in the square. Large park with riverside walk (and parkrun). Dolgellau is a main hub for buses in the region and it was easy for us to get to and from the Coast Path each day. As I write, Traws Cymru buses are free on weekends as well. Whilst we didn't walk inland, Cadair Idris can be walked from Dolgellau. I would thoroughly recommend the house and the town for a holiday base"

"The beds were comfortable to sleep on and the overall overall cleanliness of the property was excellent. There were plenty of bathrooms/toilets in the property which made our stay comfortable as there were so many of us. Overall we enjoyed our stay in the cottage."

"After a day's hiking on Cadair Idris or biking at Coed-y-Brenin, Wenallt was the ideal place to come back to, to recharge. It accommodated the ten in our party comfortably, with room to spare, and everything we needed was right on the doorstep."
