Reviews of Ty Cosy

"The cottage was lovely and well equipped and it has a nice garden in the back. The stairway to the bedroom and bathroom is quite steep, so it may be not suited for elderly people. Supermarkets and the town center were very close by as well as some nice restaurants and cafes. You can start some nice hiking trips directly from Dolgellau, like the Mawdddach Trail or Cadair Idris and also Mount Snowdon etc. is not far off. I really enjoyed staying there."

"This cottage was well placed for our visit to this area of Wales. Adequately furnished and comfortable, it suited our needs. The pretty back garden had plenty of seating, which was perfect for enjoying the particularly hot weather we were lucky enough to enjoy during our stay. We met the owner who was very friendly and she suggested some places that we might like to visit, which was helpful. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would not hesitate to recommend it to others."

"The small but well maintained and furnished cottage is set down a narrow side street right in the centre of this pretty little town making it ideal for the shops and pubs. I found the cottage to be ideal for visiting the many attractions and walks in and around Dolgellau. It had everything you could want and was a bit like staying in someones home, The kitchen/lounge area on the ground floor led out to a lovely courtyard garden and the large double bedroom upstairs had a good size ensuite shower room. The owner had provided many cooking and cleaning products which saved buying them or taking them with you. The TV in the lounge was very small so you may be disappointed if you enjoy watching TV and I found car parking a problem in the narrow street otherwise I loved my weeks stay especially as I was blessed with fantastic weather for walking."

"It was just perfect accommodation for our break in Wales, just enough room for two. The Cottage is well equipped, including Le Creuset crockery and the bed was lovely and comfortable. The Cottage is in Dolgellau, which is set in stunning scenery, and an ideal centre for walking in the southern part of the Snowdon National Park and cycling along the Mawdach trail. Plenty of places to eat out in the village and nice pubs too. The owners provided plenty of guidance on local walks."
