Electric storage heaters with open fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, Smart TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for open fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Secure bike storage and bike washing facilities available at owner's property next door, by arrangement with the owner. Off road parking for 2 cars, plus roadside parking. Enclosed lawned garden with furniture. Sorry, no smoking. Shops and pub 1.5 miles. Lakeside Cafe 5 mins walk. Note: Off road parking is on the grassed area at the front of the cottage. Note: The garden is located at the rear of the cottage. Access is down the side of the cottage, passing behind the neighbouring cottage, which is currently not in use and is also owned by the cottage owner.

Bryn Alun is a convenient place for exploring this part of North Wales.
The traditional Welsh village of Tanygrisiau, meaning "below the steps'' is situated within reach of Blaenau Ffestiniog. The village stands amongst dramatic scenery, and Tanygrisiau is a good starting point for many walks, especially if your intention is to climb Moelwyn itself. Tanygrisiau railway station is on the famous Ffestiniog Railway, a narrow gauge railway built to carry slate from the mines down to the sea at Porthmadog; today it is a renowned tourist attraction providing stunning views on its trip to the coast.
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

"It was very good indeed; excellently presented and in a great location. The cottage is comfortable and cosy. As a base for visiting Snowdonia and walking it is just about perfect. In fact, we enjoyed it so much I thought about leaving a terrible review so that we can be sure of booking again!"
