Close to the city of Chester yet within the borders of North Wales, this village hosts a primary school, shop and two pubs, as well as a village hall hosting various community clubs and events. Just a short drive will bring you over the English border to the city of Chester. Take a gentle stroll through Grosvenor Park and along the River Dee, and pick an ideal spot for a picnic with the family. Many a fun-filled day out can be had at the Racecourse or Chester Zoo. The Snowdonia National Park and Welsh coastal towns of Colwyn Bay and Llandudno are within easy reach as are the cities of Liverpool and Manchester.
