"A nice cottage on a working farm. Spacious cottage and comfy beds, however it was lacking a few home comforts and the cleanliness could be better. A warm welcome in arrival by the owner who was very friendly."

""The location of the cottage was wonderful with walks right outside the door and stunning views. Although on a working farm it was peaceful and relaxing. The owner was friendly and helpful; we would definitely recommend the property." "

""Everything about the cottage and surroundings was first class and the owner could not have done any more for us. The cottage was within easy reach of lots of places of interest but secluded if that was what you desired. We will be returning again I am sure.""

"The cottage was lovely; the bed very comfortable and the bathrooms were done beautifully, especially the large shower. The bedding was very nice too. The pictures of the cottage don't do it justice. There is a lovely view from the cottage to the rear, a very peaceful place to be. We would love to visit again."

"Everything about the holiday was great. We booked the adjoining property also as it was a large group. The property was perfect for our needs, with the hot tub, BBQs and large dining area being in constant use. Everyone in the group was sad to leave. The owner of the property was very friendly and happy to help with any queries we had. Many thanks! "

"The cottage had very comfy beds & a large kitchen with ample space for 4 adults and 3 dogs. The ensuites for both the bedrooms were a great feature ( and in fact it was this that attracted us to the property, along with allowing 3 dogs!) :) Unfortunately there were quite a few shortcomings. This property is advertised as a dog friendly cottage but it was unfortunately not the case. We were asked to keep our dogs ( they are not aggressive breeds either - lab & spaniel) on a lead at all times, which meant that even if they were let out do their business ( within the ' private garden'), they needed to always be accompanied. There was no wifi facility either although it says it has. Finally in terms of its location within the farm, the cottages are situated ( and face) the cow shed at the bottom of the farm ( as opposed to the great views at the back), which meant the smell of manure ( although to be expected in a farm!) was quite overwhelming. We have been in many farm cottages across the country but have never experienced being so close to the sheds! :("

"The cottage was amazing! Decorated to a really high standard, the pictures do not do it justice, it is better in real life. The owner was a gem! The farm was massive, and really quite quiet which was exactly what we wanted! There is so much to do in the surrounding area that we all did not want to leave, and would love to return! "
