Location

Y Garth is a semi-detached cottage, located in the heart of Ferryside and can sleep six people. The cottage has a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a room with adult bunks, a bathroom, a kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area. Outside there is roadside parking on a first come, first served basis, with additional parking in the free public car park 50 yards away. There is also a small, enclosed, rear courtyard with furniture. Y Garth is a wonderful base for your self-catering holiday. Sorry, no worker bookings, stag/hen parties, single sex parties or similar. Property became Pet-free on the 7th October 2019.

The pretty coastal village of Ferryside is a thriving community that still retains its village atmosphere. With a wonderful sandy beach, a general store, cafe, Post Office and pub, the village has a full range of amenities for visitors. Regular trains stop in the village providing easy access to Camarthen, Pembrey or Llanelli and the wide range of attractions in the region. The busy market town of Camarthen has plenty of shops, tea-rooms, restaurants and pubs to choose from while a visit to Pembrey Country Park, with its sandy beach, toboggan run and dry ski slope, is a great day out for all the family. There are castles, craft centres and mills across the landscape as well as the mysterious Merlin's Hill Centre, shrouded in myth and legend and rich in wildlife. With walks from the doorstep and the cycle trail at the Millennium Coastal Path close by, this is a perfect a base for a relaxing or an active holiday for the whole family.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
