Reviews of Lavender Cottage

"Lovely location, two minutes from beach. Great for exploring South Wales. Plenty to see and do. In the week we were here we explored castles, parks and some amazing beaches. My grandsons aged 5 and 8 had a wonderful time and did not want to come home. The cottage is a real gem, it has everything you could possible want. The log burner was lovely to light in the chilly evenings. Plenty of local places to eat and get provisions. There is a delightful railway station in the village and the signal box is still manned. All in all we had a wonderful week staying in Lavender Cottage and can not recommend it enough. You will not be disappointed. South Wales is beautful and hopefully we will be back"

"Lavender Cottage was superb, very well equipped and very welcoming. We were pleased with the enclosed yard at the back so we could leave the door open for the dog. I would certainly recommend this Cottage to anyone."

"Lavender cottage was very good value for money the week we picked. We enjoyed the relaxed and homely atmosphere of the cottage. Lots of nice touches and the cottage was equipped over and above the norm. Lavender cottage is in an absolutely brilliant location close to the beach with breathtaking views. It is close to a restaurant, pub and stores and has the great advantage of a regular train and bus service. We found everyone very helpful and friendly, including a local garage who checked my car when a warning light came on. We would definitely go again."

"The Cottage was lovely and homely, very comfortable and clean. A short distance, 5 minutes walk downhill, was the lovely friendly village pub, followed by the beach and the yacht club, who also made us very welcome. There is a restaurant in the village, that serves the best fish n chips I have ever tasted and was good value for money. There are the most beautiful beaches is the area which were virtually empty. I can honestly say it was the most relaxing holiday I have had in a long time."
