Location

Thistle Doo is a single-storey detached lodge situated on the owner's working livestock farm, three miles from Ancrum in the heart of the Scottish Borders. This cottage sleeps three people and has a double bedroom, a folding bed available on request, a shower room and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric stove. Outside there's off road parking for two cars and a decked area with furniture. Thistle Doo is an ideal base for exploring this part of the Scottish Borders.

The small village of Ancrum in the Scottish Borders offers a pub, shop, butcher and Post Office. The town of St Boswells is nearby, as is the larger towns of Jedburgh and Kelso.

"Lovely little lodge off the beaten track but within easy reach of local villages. Very quiet and peaceful, and owners extremely friendly. A small lodge, but has absolutely everything in it that you would need - even a never ending supply of eggs from the farms chickens. I would definitely recommend."
