"Home from home. It's a fabulous cottage with everything you could wish for that also caters for our Border Collie (who always travels with us). Thank you Fiona."

"We found ourselves needing accommodation for a couple of weeks due to an emergency home repair, Skye Blue was absolutely perfect, a proper home from home with everything we needed. I would not hesitate to recommend the cottage, the icing on the cake was the way Fiona settled us in then made us feel like the cottage was our private space. A bad situation was made bearable thanks to Fiona and Skye Blue "

"An absolutely beautiful cottage in a fantastic location with a lovely, kind and helpful owner. Fiona went out of her way to help me set up the cottage to best accommodate my two dogs. I had to leave early because one of my dogs was very poorly but even then Fiona wanted to know what she could do to help as she knew I was travelling alone. Cannot recommend it highly enough and will definitely rebook."

"Thank you Fiona for a lovely stay. All the little essentials were taken care of, down to bags of treats for the dogs, a dog towel, dog bed, and bowls. Fiona even remembered to put in a baby gate that we had asked for when we first booked. Cottage itself is lovely, comfiest bed we have ever slept in, very well equipped and in a fantastic location very close to a friendly pub, quiet area with lovely scenery and great for walking the dogs. Also has a secure garden. Fiona was very helpful, taking care to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we could want. Would recommend visiting New Lanark. Look forward to returning."

"Just back from a great holiday in this fabulous cottage. We knew from first speaking to Fiona on the telephone that this was going to be excellent. The cottage was comfortable, warm and clean with everything catered for to enjoy a superb holiday. The bed was super comfy too. Fiona had even left out things for our dog, bed if required, dishes, toys and treats, who could ask for more. Our dog loved the enclosed long garden because he could at last have a run, our own garden being a bit small for him. The Pub two doors up from the cottage serves excellent meals and the owners and staff there are super friendly. The scenery and places to visit within an hour of the cottage are superb. Fiona gave us loads of information on places to go and the best routes to find them, but there were also lots of leaflets in the cottage. We wouldn't hesitate in booking this cottage again in the future, we felt at home and relaxed there."

"Stayed here for 4 nights with my husband and dog. The owner was very pleasant and met us at the cottage and explained everything and gave us information about happenings in the area. We found the cottage to be well decorated, it looks new, well stocked with equipment in the kitchen which all worked well. All was comfy and pleasant. All rooms are downstairs except the actual bedroom. This was comfy and there were plenty of towels and pillows provided. The bathroom is downstairs and was new and clean with a nice big shower. Place very dog friendly, with large lawned back yard and the owner provided dog bowls, towel, poo bags and some biscuits. Lovely to see. The only disappointment was that the cottage is on the main road of the village, so although the village is small and quiet all traffic goes past your front door. I wish this was advertised for all cottages, because if you are not used to being so close to the road it can be off putting. There is also no parking, we parked across the road on a side street which although safe, isn't perfect. There is no shop in the village but the pub is 2 doors down and provides a good feed on Friday - Sundays. If not you need to drive about 5 miles to Forth. There is no wifi although we bought 5 days use of BT which worked ok at most times. Phone coverage is also a bit iffy."
