Welcome to The Shieling. This comfortable well-appointed cottage is situated on the outskirts of the village of Newtonmore near Kingussie in the Cairngorms National Park and can sleep six people in three bedrooms.

Location

The Shieling is a comfortable well-equipped cottage located on the outskirts of the village of Newtonmore near Kingussie in the Cairngorms National Park. The cottage can sleep six people in one double bedroom and two twin rooms. There is a family bathroom and an additional shower room. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a shared garden with patio and furniture. Located close to amenities and in a stunning area with a myriad of outdoor pursuits nearby, including snowsports, The Shieling is ideal for a family or group of friends wishing to explore this beautiful part of Scotland.

Overlooking the River Spey, in the Cairngorms National Park, Newtonmore has several shops and pubs, as well as the Newtonmore Craft Centre and two excellent, award-winning museums. The area offers fine golf, fishing, pony trekking, walking, bird-watching, cycling, mountain-biking, climbing and skiing, making it an ideal base from which to discover all that this scenic area of Scotland has to offer.
