"We stayed at the old laundry with my sister and brother-in-law for 4 nights in early March. It's a perfect location in view of the imposing Grantown castle with beautiful highland scenery and abundant wildlife. There are lovely walks into town and beyond and many activities in easy reach. We tried out the cross country Segway at the Rothimurchus Estate near Aviemore which was brilliant fun. We also took the funicular railway to the top of Cairngorm, well worth a trip. All in all a fantastic holiday with a wonderful base to chill out and relax in"

"Fabulous location on the forest, with no passing traffic. Total tranquillity and lovely for wildlife including deer. We fed the birds and really enjoyed their visits. The Old Laundry is very well equipped, comfortable and immaculate. The owners have made it homely and it has all the facilities you could need. The fire makes for a very cosy place to relax and admire the stunning scenery. Especially beautiful in the snow. The benefit of the property location is that it's a great escape but near enough to Grantown for a quick trip out for shopping etc. Amazing property in a fabulous location, with very helpful and friendly owners a call away if you need any advice."

"Amazing property in the forest with no traffic and people but town only just over a mile away. Beautifully appointed with very well equipped kitchen and utility room. Very comfortable throughout, warm and cosy. Immaculate and very clean. Attention to detail is a credit to the very helpful and friendly owners. Comfortable beds and very good bathroom facilitates. Lovely walks in the forest, spectacular in the heavy snow. We fed the birds and was deer on most days. Great base for exploring The Highlands but equally lovely to spend time relaxing by the fire. A wonderful gem in a stunning place."

"Lovely setting with views over woods, fields and hills. Close enough to Grantown for civilisation (great fishing shop there too) and Aviemore. The cottage was perfectly organised, had all we needed and was a real pleasure to stay in. The spacious kitchen was really good. Along Speyside there was so much to do: walking, fishing, visiting the many distilleries, day trips to the coast."

"Well appointed property. Quiet and peaceful location although flipside is that it can feel a little isolated at times. Restaurants in the area not great but the kitchen in the property is more than adequate to cook up a feast yourself. Helpful owners will give you all you need to know via a phone call. Makes you feel like a trusted and welcome guest to their family holiday home, perfect. Would definitely stay again!"
