"One of several cottages with the number 22. Well located in the centre of Grantown - which is the most beautiful and friendly place. Clean and well equipped. Comfortable for two people. Still problems with the shower - which have been well documented by others."

"Wonderful cottage in the centre of Grantown on Spey. The cottage was very comfy and always warm. There was so much to do in the local area and many of the activities are not dependant on the season making it a great February get away."

"Excellent service and the location was perfect for the town and the amenities. The owner was a phonecall away and helped us find the property, which we struggled with a bit. confused by the fact that there were a number of properties with the same house number. The only thing I wasn't keen on was the bathroom which was small and difficult to access and the door to it ill fitting, but otherwise a very modern and comfortable cottage. Highly recommended"

It was lovely and quiet and the off road parking was great. The owners were very helpful and responded quickly to any questions. It was close to shops and ideally placed for skiing, walking or sightseeing. A very good little base and I would be happy to stay there again and recommend it to friends."

"A small poblem occured at the cottage and the owner, who lives a very good car ride from the cottage, came at once to rectify it. We were very impressed. This was the third time that we have stayed at Craigview and we find the cottage well appointed, warm and comfortable. It is idealy set in a very quiet cul de sac off the main street which is means that one can stroll into town without using the car. The woods and river are close by and the hills and coast (Findhorn) not far away. As we are fond of wildlife we enjoyed seeing five red squirrels within half and hour of arriving and walking to the old Spey Bridge. The abundance of wildlife is one of the pleasures of this area.We will returrn next year to Craigview."

"There are only three suggestions I have: 1) Heated towel rod and better heater in the bath - it was so cold towels never came close to drying and the heater shut off mid-shower. 2) Verify with local caretaker that the reserve heater is on. Landlord said he had requested but when we arived (a day behind schedule, no less) the heater had not been turned off so the flat was very cold 3) Please put a snow shovel in the shed (we presumed a former guest may have 'borrowed' it last winter. There were, thankfully, two big push brooms to clear snow and plenty of grit (but no shovel to spread it with...) Overall, we loved it. Kitchen is very well appointed and we were pleasantly surprised with the experience"
