Welcome to Iona. This detached log cabin near Strontian sleeps six people in three bedrooms.

Accommodation

All ground floor. Three bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin, 1 x single with pull-out stacker bed. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric log-effect fire. Electric heating with electric fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi, selection of books and DVDs. Power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 1 car close to property. Front deck with furniture, picnic area to side. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop, pub and loch 5 mins walk. Note: There is a step up to access the property. Note: Check-in time 4pm.

Location

Iona is a quality detached cabin near Strontian, with wonderful views over Loch Sunart. The cabin is single-storey property with a double and a twin room and a room with single and additional stacker bed, a bathroom and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside is off road parking, and a front deck with furniture and wonderful loch views, as well as a shared lawn. Iona is on an ideal part of the Ardnamurchan Peninsula to enjoy this area's wildlife, walking and fishing, or for exploring Fort William, Glencoe or the Isle of Mull.

Strontian is located on the north shore of Loch Sunart and is the main village in this striking area of the West Highlands of Scotland, commonly referred to as the Ardnamurchan Peninsula. There is a relaxed pace of life here which is typical of the Highlands, with quiet roads and spectacular scenery. Strontian boasts good local amenities with shops, pubs and local hotels providing an excellent standard of cuisine. There is a real vibe in the village especially in the summer months, and wonderful live music can be heard in the Sunart Centre. From Strontian you can drive the spectacular mountain road over the shoulder of Ben Resipole and down to the beautiful Polloch, on the shores of inland Loch Shiel.

From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
