Reviews of 4 Mountain Lodge

"Do not be put off by the track leading up to the lodge (any car will be fine) - once up, it does not disappoint. The lodge is easy to find and once inside, it has been done up to an extremely high standard. Everything was spotless, clean and tidy. The views are absolutely stunning and the lodge is a very short walk to Wanlockhead 'centre', and the local pub (Highest in Scotland!). Easy to walk to the Wanlockhead Mining Museum (Highly recommended) and perfect for a simple "get away" from it all or walking, gold panning, etc etc. No local shop, so take plenty of food & drink for your stay. Owners extremely nice and very good communication. We will be back to stay here again and can highly recommend it to others!"
