Reviews of Sonas 3 Kenmore Cottages

"From the moment we could find our cottage in the dark after we arrived, we were happy to be there. The Xmas tree, welcome hamper and wonderfully clean and comfortable cottage was such a welcome sight. It's the first time we've been away from home over NY and we would definitely do so again. Booking a dog friendly holiday you always hope it'll be ok, but this time our dog received such a welcome we were amazed. A comfy bed, treats, bowls, her own towel and even a Xmas present were included! Really above & beyond but so lovely. The owner was quick to respond to any question. Internet was reliable and all possible kitchen supplies and amenities were available. We also loved the super king size beds! One or two things I'd suggest - we wish we'd had a heads up about the wild life. As a cottage that welcomes dogs, our small dog and I were a bit shocked to encounter what we presumed to be a wolf or lynx on our bed time walk more than once! If you need to exercise your pet before bed or after dark, we'd recommend using the front garden and staying within the boundary fence. It's fine, just something to take into account and plan for so you're not alarmed. Also the mattresses are a little on the firm side, so something to think of if you have a strong preference. Other than that, this is a great value place to stay with lots of beautiful scenery and a great base to explore Oban and it's surroundings."
