Log burner (guests may help themselves to logs from their cottage log store). Electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, hairdryer, TV, DVD and dishwasher. Free WiFi. Fuel and power included in rent. Bed linen and towels included in rent (changed weekly). Travel cot and highchair available on request. Off-road parking adjacent to property. Shared use of a BBQ, an all-weather tennis court, football nets, putting green and walled garden with croquet. Sorry, no smoking. Pets welcome (maximum two). Shop and pub 15 mins walk.

The Isle of Bute is situated on the East Coast of Scotland. The bay itself has a wonderful sheltered sandy beach. Rothesay is a popular seaside town, where you will find plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants and takeaways. Walk along the esplanade, visit the winter gardens and catch the open top bus for a full tour of the island. You can take the ferry crossing to Wemyss Bay, visit the castle ruins in the centre of town and enjoy the beautiful scenery with coastal walks or on one of the cycle routes.
