"Liked the peace and quiet of the area around the cottage, the welcome starter pack in the cottage along with the friendly welcome from the owner when I arrived. It was lovely to know that if there was any problems or I had any questions where I could contact her. The area around the cottage had lots to do and also the information folder and basket of leaflets in the cottage is a great idea for people visiting the area and not sure of what to go and visit. The guest book for people to enter how they felt about the cottage and also giving other guests ideas of what to do while in the area."

"Having just spent two weeks in this lovely cottage we have to say we were very sad to leave. It was clean, beautifully decorated and well equipped. The views from all the windows were lovely and the only sound we heard were the birds and the nearby waterfall. On a clear night, because there is no light pollution, the stars were amazing!! and on a rainy evening there was nothing more cozy than sitting by a log fire with a glass of whisky!! If there had to be a downside it was perhaps the location as the road leading to the property is a single track which is very potholed in parts and the nearest large shop was a Co-op at Lochgilphead about 11 miles away but it was open until 11.00 pm every night. but this was a small price to pay for the views and quiet. The hotel at Kilmartin approximately 8 miles a way had a nice bar and restaurant I'm sure that if you needed anything in an emergency the owners Mr & Mrs Glendinning would help, they were lovely couple and their 'welcome treats' were a nice touch. As the property has it's own water supply it meant that at times it could be slightly discoloured so we stocked up with bottled water to drink, cook and clean our teeth in but this is stated on the website so we were prepared. All in all we had a wonderful time and would deffinately stay here again."
