Knowehead Bothy is a luxury cottage placed near the Scottish village of Insch. It comes with five bedrooms made up of a king-size with an en-suite, a double with a Jack-and-Jill en-suite, two further double rooms and a twin, there is also a family bathroom and a cloakroom, the property can sleep ten people. The interior also includes a kitchen/diner, a utility, a sitting room with a woodburning stove, a further sitting room and a snug with a woodburning stove. Its exterior comes with ample off road parking, a patio with furniture and a barbecue and a lawn area. Knowehead Bothy is a sublime, contemporary cottage placed excellently for touring Aberdeenshire.
A village in Aberdeenshire in between Huntly, Inverurie and Alford. It has a selection of shops and takeaways as well as a museum. The Dunnideer Hill Fort and stone circles are worth a visit with their views over the Aberdeenshire countryside. Donald Trump's golf course is available nearby, as is the port city of Aberdeen and the Cairngorms National Park.
From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

"Just returned from staying at Knowehead Bothy and what can I say.... The property itself is outstanding. This is certainly one to return to again and again. We had never been to this part of Scotland before and it didn't fail to disappoint. Beautiful countryside, and only a stone's throw away from things to do. However, back to the property, this place has everything, top quality kitchen, top quality entertainment system, top quality furniture, top quality everything. The owners have certainly got great taste in creating not only a great property, but also somewhere that immediately makes you feel at home. If you stay here, Please show the fixtures and fittings the respect they deserve, the owners have clearly invested a great deal in this property and it would be a shame to miss use any of these things to the detriment of other visitors. We have really enjoyed our stay at Knowehead Bothy and we are already planning our return. "
