Sorry no smoking. Shop 2 miles and pub 3.5 miles. Note:There is an electric meter in the cottage which takes 2 euro coins for electric.

Salthouse is a charming cottage in a brilliant coastal location.

Fethard-on-Sea is a village east of the Hook Peninsula, south-west County Wexford. It has a colourful history, including the lifeboat tragedy of 1914, and the Fethard-on-Sea Boycott. A fishing and holiday village, it's a great base to enjoy beaches, shops and pubs. The Hook Peninsula attracts visitors with the lighthouse and beaches, plus there is watersports available. There are sites to visit, such as Tintern Abbey and medieval abbeys in Dunbrody and Graiguenamanagh, plus the star shaped Elizabethan Fort at Duncannon houses a military and maritime museum, and The Cockleshell Art Gallery. New Ross and JFK Arboretum or the Dunbrody Famine Ship are close, or travel to Waterford or Wexford to take in all they have to offer, from the Wexford Opera House, Johnstown Castle and The Heritage Park to Waterford Castle and Waterford Crystal.
