"A lovely clean well equipped house in Duncannon. just 2 mins from a wonderful clean sandy beach. Very Large house, sleeping eight. It had a huge dinning room and comfortable sitting room with open fire.4 bedrooms, The top room had an extra single and cot so could sleep 10 if you don't mid the children sharing your room. Three toilets, a family bathroom and one en-suite. The kitchen was large with lots equipment for cooking. A utility room for laundry. Avril met us on arrival, what a lovely lady, very welcoming, The fire was lit and there were the essentials all ready for us in the kitchen. The location is good for touring. there is a local supermarket a mile or two away and a corner shop for those little thing just on the same street. There are two pubs in Duncannon, both very welcoming. They both serve food but you need to be there relatively early as I think they stop taking orders around 8pm, There is also a hotel in the village that serves food but again stops serving at 8pm. The people of Duncannon made us very welcome, everyone said hello. We were very sad to leave and would highly recomend"

We enjoyed it so much that we are already planning a return visit. The beach is less than 5 minutes from the house and a supermarket is about a 5 minute drive. A superb location for a holiday."

There were places to eat and drink without having to go in the car and the beach was great. In our party ages ranged from 9 - 77 and it was good for all concerned."

"The property was very well equipped, and thoughtfully so. I liked the extra touches, like playing cards, DVDs, books and jigsaws that were provided. There was the best provision of towels I have ever seen! The property owners were most welcoming and eager to be of help. The position of the property in Duncannon was excellent - with shops, bars and the beach so close. Duncannon itself provides an excellent base for making short trips to places of interest in the surrounding countryside."
