Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop, restaurant and pub 1.5 miles. Note: Water supply is from local borehole.

Location

This delightful semi-detached farmhouse has been renovated to offer comfortable accommodation for up to nine people. It is a warm and inviting house and makes a fabulous base for a memorable holiday with friends or family. The kitchen is well equipped and the dining area has an open fire giving an inviting ambience to the property. The sitting room is spacious and welcoming and again boasts an open fire. There are four good sized bedrooms all renovated to a high standard and three of the rooms have en-suite facilities, and there is a further ground floor cloakroom. Outside there is garden furniture, a barbecue and a lawned area, and the views from the garden are stunning. This property makes a superb base to see this special part of Ireland.

The lively town of Lismore is four miles from Cappoquin and it has a 17th Century hilltop Cathedral as well as an impressive castle with magnificent Jacobean gardens. The town has a variety of attractions from live pub music to arts and crafts and numerous places to eat, many of them highly recommended. There is a golf course close to the town and an equestrian centre for those who enjoy riding. Walkers are well catered for, with coastal paths on the coastline from Dungarvan to Youghall and there are bays, beaches and cliff tops to explore along the way. The city of Waterford is famous for its beautiful crystal, and it has a wide variety of shops and eateries on the quays and back streets. This is a superb base for a holiday.

Known as the "Sunny South East", the counties of Wicklow, Wexford, Waterford, and Tipperary offer everything you could need for a dream holiday in Ireland. Miles of sandy beach and scenic drives taking in mountains and coast are on your doorstep.

"A wonderful view from the farmhouse across the valley and river. The kids loved Rosie the donkey who lives in the field next to the house. Lismore Castle Gardens worth a visit. The owner very friendly and helpful."
