Reviews of Seefin Lodge

"The positives are that this is a spacious modern bungalow set a long way from civilisation up a very narrow 2 mile track, so no light or noise pollution. If you are avid walkers then there are also some good walks available straight out of the front door of the house. Plenty of towels and linen The not so positive aspects are that the house was extremely dirty, the showers had pubic hair and stains on the shower trays it was clear these had not been cleaned. The bath was dirty and the hot tap did not work so could not use the bath, the floors were filthy but the hoover did not work so we hand brushed the entire house, there was no mop so we had to hand wash the bathroom floors. We had to purchase cleaning materials and clean the bathrooms before we could use them! The heater in one of the bedrooms was also very dirty, the fire had not been cleaned out and there were no logs available despite this being included in description of property. Reception of the TV was so poor it could not be watched and the DVD player had the wrong cable so this could not be used, there was an iron but no ironing board. The owner offered 50 euros compensation, given the cost of cleaning material and a whole day spent cleaning the owner has had a quite a good deal as it would have cost them more to pay a cleaner to do this work. He refused to offer any further compensation"
