Welcome to Dromore West Cottage. This large, detached cottage is located close to the coast just outside the village of Dromore West in County Sligo and sleeps seven people in four bedrooms.

All ground floor. Four bedrooms: 3 x double with built-in wardrobes (1 with access from 1 side only), 1 x single with built-in wardrobes. Bathroom with corner bath, separate shower, basin and WC. Fitted kitchen with dining area (seats 6) and range cooker. Dining room (seats 6). Sitting room (seats 5) with open fire. Oil central heating with open fire in sitting room. Oil fired range cooker, electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, TV, DVD, radio. Oil and electricity inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 4 cars. Front and rear lawned garden with furniture and BBQ. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 10 mins walk.

Location

Dromore West Cottage is situated just outside the village that it is named after on the coast of County Sligo in the North West of Ireland. The cottage has three double bedrooms and one single which with the addition of a large family bathroom makes it suitable for seven people. The cottage also contains a fitted kitchen with a range cooker and a dining area and a sitting room (for 5 people) with an open fire. To the outside of the cottage is a front and rear lawned garden with furniture and a BBQ as well as off road parking for four cars. Dromore West Cottage is a lovely coastal cottage close to the village amenities in an unspoilt and rural part of western Ireland.

The village of Dromore West in County Sligo is situated between Sligo City and Ballina town, and is home to 3 pubs, a Post Office, butcher, supermarket and a pharmacy. One of Sligo's many museums is located in Dromore West; Culkin's Emigration Museum sits on the site of Daniel Culkin's original Shipping and Emigration Agency, but today, features a host of fascinating artefacts, and also the Agency itself, which is housed inside the museum. The seaside village of Easky lies just up the coast from Dromore West and is a well-known surfing resort, while the long sandy beach at Enniscrone is great for family fun.

The West of Ireland conjures up many images; thatched, whitewashed cottages, a flock of sheep on a narrow road, an emerald green field with a stone wall, or the Atlantic waves crashing into towering cliffs and rocky shores.

"Location was excellent for visiting the coast of Sligo, north Mayo and Sligo Town. It was close enough to the village yet very quiet. Very friendly and helpful owner living next door. "
