Reviews of Doogara Cottage

"We stayed in Doogara cottage while attending a wedding. Its a beautiful and charming place with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. It looks like it stepped out of a postcard. The cottage contains everything you could need plus lots of extra home comforts. The sitting room is so cozy you would never want to leave. The beds are bed linen are top notch. The hosts live nearby and went above and beyond their duty to ensure everything was perfect for our stay. I cannot recommend Doogara highly enough. I will be back!"

"We Stayed in this lovely cottage in July 2017. It was a short break to celebrate my husbands 50th Birthday & our 26th wedding anniversary. We have got lots of family in Ballaghadreen so this was a great location for us! It is a great base for many lovely places to visit on a daily basis like Knock, Sligo, Castle bar, Westport, Galway are all within driving distance for a day out. The cottage has got two bedrooms which are a good size & are comfortable & clean, the living room has an open fire with plenty of turf in the shed to keep it going. The kitchen has got everything including fridge, washing machine, toaster, microwave, plenty of cups, plates etc. the toilet, shower room was very clean too. We had a lovely week in this cottage & would defiantly go back again. When we arrived there was a welcome package of Irish loaf, butter, jam, milk which was a lovely touch."
