Reviews of Bright Modern Apartment -the Old Stables

"this is the first time we have rented in Ireland, I cannot say enough good things about the Old Stables, perfect for peace and quiet but in a fab position for travel to lots of places of interest and towns to visit, the owner if friendly and helpful and the property is of a high standard with all mod cons including a washing machine, it has an out side eating area and use of the barbeque and garden, we would definitely stay here again"

"Our stay at the Old Stables was very enjoyable, it is a nice open conversion, clean, modern and run by a friendly owner. We would have scored it the perfect 5 apart from a couple of slight issues, on the Sykes Cottages website iit states that wifi internet is available (one of the main reasons why we booked this cottage as we would be relying on the internet to search out suitable rental or for sale properties) and indeed wifi is, but the problem is the only place to get even the poorest signal is stood just inside the main entrance door or outside and then the signal is still poor on android devices and non existent on apple devices like my IPad, definitely not ideal at this time of year standing outside in the cold, or standing right next to the entrance door if you are over and searching the internet at length for properties to view. If you do not need the internet whilst lon holiday then this is the perfect place to stay,"
