Reviews of The Old School House

"It was a lovely cottage in very good condition. A complete kitchen we were with 6 adults and one teenager we had plenty of space we loved it there."

"Booked into the Old Schoolhouse as a group of 2 families comprising 4 adults & 3 kids for 3 nights. It has everything you need to have an extremely comfortable stay. The kids had their own 'retreat' upstairs in the loft (with great views out to Croagh Patrick), including tv, books & plenty of space to hang out. The neat backyard also provided some space for the kids to run around & kick a ball. The sitting room, with open fire was awesome to come back to, and the fully equipped kitchen made it easy to cater for ourselves. So much so, that rather than make the short trip into town for dinner each night we elected to stay in, cook for ourselves and just enjoy the ambience of the Old Schoolhouse. It's a great option if you need to accommodate a large group."

"The cottage was well kitted out, well furnished and faultless. It was in a perfect spot - quiet with great views, especially from first floor lounge/bedroom. Everything you could need was in nearby Westport with great pubs and eateries. So much to do in a beautiful part of Ireland."

"We loved the cottage, it has got all the practical needs for a holiday let plus a wonderful ambience. We felt at home the minute we stepped inside. The location is great for lovely days out in this fantastic part of Ireland, but not too long of a journeys home at the end of the day. Local walks are a treat, we just loved it."
