Reviews of The Cottage

"We were welcomed by the owners who showed us all the essentials and left us such a sweet welcome basket with tasty foods. The cottage is so well seT out with a fantastically stocked kitchen, lots of board games and books for rainy days maps and lots of stuff about the area. The scene is set with a turf fire and loft space to hang out in. Hands down one of the nicest places I've stayed in IIreland. "

"beautyful, quiet situated, very warm welcome and excellent equiped. The cottage is good for a couple or small family with older childrens which want to have a calm staying. Your neighbar is a butcher with a small shop, having best lambchops we ever had for barbeque. Some of the facility is made by old traditional irish style. You may able to use all amenities on the site as open barbeque site, camping chairs and tables, a big open barn and herb garden. The only thing which need to renovate is the shower cabin.Inside the cottage is attached to a groundfloor-bedroom a open loft with 2 beds, reachable by a very steep ladder. (not good for young childrens or older people)"

"The cottage was beautiful and idyllic, and the hosts were lovely and had thought of everything you might need in a holiday rental. We especially loved the books provided which were about the local area, the attention to small details in the kitchen and bathroom, and generally the whole property was very charming and the perfect getaway. "I totally loved the cottage--would love to live there on a daily basis if I could! I liked the fact that it was oil heated, plus you had an open fire with all the turf you could use so the cottage was always warm and cozy. It was very clean and well equipped. The couple who owns the property are very friendly as well. "
