Reviews of Mount Brandon Cottage

"As regular visitors to this part of the Dingle Penninsula we know cloghane well. This well proportioned large cottage is family friendly and very affordable compared to others in the area. It sleeps up to 10 in 4 bedrooms but could easily sleep 12-14 as the upstairs bedrooms could easily take 2 doubles. there is ample storage in all the rooms. TIP: bring some clothes hangers...big wardrobes but few hangers.! Large bathroom is great and open family room downstairs with open fire is lovely...However, there are some things which need some TLC. Both showers are poor and the newer one in the small wetroom downstairs has really low pressure. Some of the furniture needs updating (especially the patio furniture) but just for comfort really. There is a baby cot but NOT very much baby bedding. There's lots of cutlery and crockery in the kitchen but very few glasses for 10 people...the outside space is limited but there is a good patio area. Would definitely use the house again and recommend to others...it's 1km walk into the village and more importantly to a great pub called O'connors which has live music on Sunday and Wednesday nights.
