This pretty little settlement provides access to the longest beach in Ireland, which stretches from the nearby Maharees Peninsula to Cloghane village, a distance of 12 miles. Castlegregory Golf and Fishing Club is just a short distance from the village centre whilst pony trekking, scuba diving, surfing, windsurfing, canoeing and waterskiing are all available on the Maharees and in the surrounding area. The three star Harbour House Dive Centre and Jamie Knox water sports are both within easy reach and offer unrivalled facilities.
