This pretty little settlement provides access to the longest beach in Ireland, which stretches from the nearby Maharees Peninsula to Cloghane village, a distance of 12 miles. Castlegregory Golf and Fishing Club is just a short distance from the village centre whilst pony trekking, scuba diving, surfing, windsurfing, canoeing and waterskiing are all available on the Maharees and in the surrounding area.
