"Our family stayed for two wonderful weeks and the cottage felt like home. We were warmly welcomed by the owners who always made themselves available to answer any questions about the cottage or sites of interest in Ireland. The impeccably maintained cottage was always a welcomed site at the end of a days journey. Location of the cottage is also perfectly situated for travel to The Ring of Kerry, Blarney Castle, Cliffs of Moher and the lovely town of Listowel. The cottage and the area was very quiet with the lovely Irish countryside all around. We also had a very special guest, "Spot" the small dog who visited us at the kitchen door several times each day. It was very nice to have a familiar face waiting for us after a day of sightseeing. Spot was the celebrity of the cottage! If you are looking for a warm, special place to stay where you can easily visit all the area attractions in Kerry and beyond, this place is the best! We highly recommend and will definitely return."

"The property was excellent in all aspects, fully fitted the needs of my family which consisted of three generations, comfortable, well located and private /quiet. For anyone looking for a high standard holiday accommodation, whether to use as a base for touring this area of Ireland or just the local area or indeed as a purely relaxation / get away from it all type of holiday, this ticks all the boxes."

"Liked absolutely everything. The cottage was amazing, in a beautiful location and spotlessly clean. The owners were very friendly and engaging, without being intrusive. The surrounding countryside was beautiful and it is perfectly placed for short drives to the Ring of Kerry, Dingle and the ferry across to County Clare. The cottage is well equipped, cosy and laid out beautifully, with an open plan area upstairs perfect for relaxing after a hard day touring! I highly recommend this beautiful cottage to everyone thinking of visiting this amazing corner of Ireland."

"The cottage was perfect! Everything was just as nice as the pictures. We had 4 bedrooms which was the right amount of space for the 5 of us. It was modern and very clean. The location was great because we were able to take the ferry which was close by to tour the Cliffs of Mohr and to go to Doolin. It was a nice spot to be able to drive down South to Dingle as well."

"The Cottage is beautiful, quiet and well located for trips along the west coast of Ireland. You can see and feel that the owners take care of the house, they made us feel at home from the first moment. The holiday started the second we arrived! With sunny and warm weather we could enjoy the garden and also the visits of Spot, the owner's friendly dog, who visited us now and then. You find everything you need for the household; there are sufficient linens and towels, information on tours and things to do during the stay and a well-working WiFi was useful for us. We enjoyed every moment of our stay at Dooncaha cottage."
