Kara Hem is a wonderful, comfortable detached cottage set in the tranquil village of Firies, near Killarney in County Kerry. The cottage can sleep up to fourteen people in six bedrooms, four of which are equipped with en-suite shower rooms and there is also a separate family bathroom, housing a bath and another shower. There is fitted kitchen and dining area with a separate family dining room and a comfortable sitting room with a cosy open fire. Outside you will find plenty of off road parking, a lawned garden to the front and rear of the property and a patio area to the rear. Kara Hem is perfect for a family or group of friends looking for a home away from home as they explore the wonders of County Kerry.

Firies is a small village nestled in lush green countryside, just a short drive from the vibrant holiday town of Killarney. The area has a very rural feel, dotted with sheep and dairy farms, and is also on the beautiful Ring of Kerry route. A great base for exploring the wonders of the South West of Ireland!

"The location was perfect; within an hour and a half's drive of so many sights and barely 15 minutes to Killarney. Loved the cows and the view too. The house was wonderful, with plenty of room. The owner was wonderful, she was just lovely and so helpful and accommodating. We would highly recommend the house and would stay again in a heartbeat!"
