Reviews of Carraig Oisin

"Carraig Oisin ist located perfectly if you want to wind down. It has everything you need to make you feel comfortable and at home: the gas stove was especially awesome and the spacious house and garden with a terrace will give you the option to gather or to stay alone for a while. Waterville is just a 10 minutes drive away and you'll get the greatest fish'n'chips at The Lobster. Fiona Walsh is a great caretaker and will do anything to make your stay even more relaxing. Perfect vacation."

"My wife and I just spent a week at this fantastic property. It is spacious, well equipped and has breathtaking views of Ballinskelligs Bay and the surrounding mountains. It is just three miles from the delightful village of Waterville and a ten minute walk from the shore with its fantastic views out to the mysterious Skellig Islands, which apparently were used as a location in Star Wars. I wouldn't know, but to me they have the mysterious look of a land which time forgot. The location is perfect for exploring the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Skellig. There are interesting places to visit and scenery and vistas unrivalled anywhere. After a long day exploring this golden corner of Ireland, watch the sunset from the shore as the Celtic Sea rolls in over the rocky beach or dine by candlelight in the kitchen diner of Carraig Oisin and look out over the bay to the grey, misty mountains beyond and get lost in the wonder of it... "The house was very spacious, well-equipped and comfortable for us. The two bedrooms upstairs were a good distance apart so that the babies didn't wake each other if they cried. The roads around the house were quiet for walking with the pushchair."
