"Tommy clarkes cottage is a fantastic place to stay and explore galway and surrounding area ive stayed here with a friend and the dogs for the second year in a row. The cottage is warm and inviting very spacious, the grounds are large and spacious also great for the dogs just hope you dont like clean dogs after they have played in the woods. There are many places around the area where you can enjoy great company and good food. Roscommon is a beautiful town to visit, Galway has great shops , pubs and even beaches. Tommy clarkes cottage is a great retreat for anyone looking to get away from everything. The cottage is set out in the country but not that far away from the small village of balygar with its shops and local church."

"A perfect location to relax and recharge or to use as a base for other excursions. Also, there are 12 acres of land ideal for walking the dog, and there is an abundance of wildlife including deer, squirrels, pine martins and too many birds to mention. This is the eighth year we have rented a house in Ireland and this has been the best ever, I will definitely be going back to this cottage again, roll on 2017!"

"A fantastic cottage with everything one needs for a holiday and more. There is a lot of space inside and outside and the interior is beautiful. The land surrounding the cottage is very peaceful and stunning. We enjoyed walking in the forest across from the house and relaxing in the cottage after visiting the west of Ireland. And it is dog friendly too! We will be back."

"It's a lovely cottage, we stayed 5 nights and I can truly say it's five star self catering at a good price. I have seen a few self catering properties in Ireland and this is by far the best I have stayed in. It is in a very rural area but about 20min from Roscommon which has all amenities. The local village has all the basics too. A lovely stay, recommended."
