The seaside resort of Youghal in County Cork is situated on the estuary where the River Blackwater meets the sea. Youghal offers historic 12th century town walls, and you may wish to swim, stroll or surf along the sandy beaches, take a cruise along the Blackwater River, take a guided tour of the town or simply relax and enjoy the pubs, cafes and restaurants.

"We came home yesterday after an amazing week in Ireland. Villa 16 at Carleton Village was plenty big enough and had everything you needed there for a home from home stay. The kids park was a big hit as was the walled garden and kids pool. There were amazing sea and harbour views down over Youghal. The whole complex was always clean and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our week which sadly came to an end too soon. We recommend this peaceful, safe complex."

"The house was lovely and everything was there that we wanted for a great stay. The village is very nice and very well maintained and the tennis courts and pool are a great bonus. Thanks for a lovely holiday."
