The Getaway is a detached bungalow in the centre of Miltown Malbay, behind the owner's home. The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms which are a double and a triple bunk room. There is also a shower room and an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a front lawned garden with furniture. The Getaway is in a fantastic location close to beaches, golf courses and stunning countryside, perfect for exploring the Wild Atlantic Way.
The pretty town of Miltown Malbay is located close to the Atlantic coast in County Clare, and is only an hour from Shannon Airport. Famed for its traditional Irish music, it is home to the Willie Clancy music festival, which is held in July, however visitors will find fabulous live music in many pubs and bars whatever the time of year. Miltown Malbay is close to some excellent beach resorts, including Lahinch, Spanish Point and Doonbeg, all of which are well worth a visit for their relaxed vibe and great surf, not to mention their excellent golf courses.
County Clare has so much on offer; boat trips, quirky pubs, seaside resorts and a great tradition for Irish music, all set amidst spectacular scenery such as the towering Cliffs of Moher and the fascinating landscape of The Burren.
